Sales Anchor provides two methods for users who wish to request deletion of their personal information and related data. This page describes how to submit a request, what data will be deleted, and the expected timeline for our response.
1. Who Can Request Deletion
Data deletion requests are available for the following two types of individuals:
- Users — Client company staff who log in and use Sales Anchor directly.
- End Users — Individuals whose data is indirectly processed via Messenger, Instagram, and other channels through which client companies communicate with their customers.
2. Two Ways to Request Deletion
Method 1: Via Meta Platform
By revoking Sales Anchor's app access from your Facebook or Instagram account settings, a data deletion request will be automatically sent to Sales Anchor.
Steps:
- Open Facebook "Settings & Privacy" → "Settings" → "Apps and Websites"
- Find Sales Anchor and select "Remove"
- A deletion request will be automatically sent to Sales Anchor
Method 2: Direct Email
You can also request deletion by sending an email to our support address.

Recommended Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
For identity verification, please include the following information in your email:
- Your name
- Email address used in Sales Anchor, or your Facebook / Instagram account identifier
- Description of the data you wish to delete
3. Data That Will Be Deleted
For Users
- Account information (login ID, name, email address, etc.)
- Session information and login history
- Data you have entered in Sales Anchor
For End Users
- Meta Platform identifiers (Page-Scoped ID, Instagram-Scoped ID, etc.)
- Message history (Messenger, Instagram Direct Messages)
- Profile information (name, profile picture, etc.)
- Message reactions and read receipts
Data That Cannot Be Deleted
The following data may not be deletable due to legal obligations:
- Tax-related documents (retained for 7 years under the Corporate Tax Act)
- Audit logs (retained for 5 years for internal control requirements)
- Litigation-related data (retained until resolution if legally required)
4. Process and Timeline
After receiving your deletion request, we will respond as follows:
- Acknowledgment — We will reply within 24 hours
- Identity verification — We may request additional information if needed
- Deletion start — Within 7 business days of your request
- Main database deletion — Within 14 days of your request
- Complete deletion (including backups) — Within 30 days of your request
- Completion notification — A confirmation code (in
DEL-YYYYMMDD-xxxxformat) will be emailed to you
5. Checking Deletion Status
After deletion is completed, you can check the status using the confirmation code (DEL-YYYYMMDD-xxxx) at the following URL:
